What we do

We're hoping to make a difference, a world away from home

Biofuel Use Mitigation

Saving lives and trees

Traditional methods of cooking in Malawi involve burning biofuels. This results in carbon emissions, and if done improperly, can result in death, asthma, and other complications.

Solar is Cheap and Easy

Moving beyond combustion

Over the past several decades, the cost of solar power has decreased significantly. It is now feasible for citizens of Malawi to conduct their cooking through utilizing the energy of the sun.

Research and Design

Perfecting the technology

With our project, we aim to further the design of the solar cooker and create a device that is easy to use, easy to clean, and most of all, easy to adopt into the end user's day to day life.
