Easier Cleaning and Serving

We have developed a new Insulated Solar Electric Cooker Design that allows the user to remove the pot from the electrical connections. We have developed a base that the pot nests into, upon which the diode chain is glued. This creates the opportunity for the pot to be removed, providing easier serving and easier cleaning.

Designed with the user in mind

We put ourselves in the user's shoes, and we decided that it wouldn't be practical to have the cooking vessel be stationary. We wanted the option to bring the cooking pot to the table, outside, or wherever food is to be served. We also wanted to be able to easily clean the pot and prepare it for the next dish. These needs inspired our design.
