Solder Wires

The plugs of the solar panel and the wires connected to our diode chain need to be attached somehow. Early in our prototyping stage for prototype #1, we just stripped the wires and had the stripped wire make contact with the solar panel’s plug. We constantly had to keep readjusting the connected wires or restripping them to maintain a strong connection. We decided to solder the wires in the shape of the solar panel’s plugs. This way, the wires are now more sturdy, stay in place better, and less malleable.
